THE WORLD AROUND US IS CHANGING RAPIDLY

Today's children will grow up to a world we can not imagine. They will work in professions we have not yet thought of. Most likely will they live alongside machines executing routine tasks that will no longer need to be done by humans. In times of unprecedented uncertainty, one thing is undoubtedly sure - their lives will be dramatically different to ours. 

DEMOCRATIC DECISIONS FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Decisions about the direction and control of Artificial Intelligence that will forever impact the future of our species are currently being made by small groups of people, with most of us not part of the discussions or our needs represented at all.

We need work together across national borders and handle complexity on much higher levels than ever before. This requires broad participation. For teachers to support the development of necessary skills, they need to know both WHAT to teach and HOW to do it.

Countries with developing education systems could lead the way by implementing new methods catering for future needs making them role models for education in Europe and North America.
